Mathis-Smythe

Vocational Program Coordinator

A native of El Paso, Texas, Morgan is a veteran educator and medical professional with 18+ years of experience. She has spent five incredible years in the classroom as a Medical assistant and Billing and coding Instructor. Most recently, she has continued to inspire students as the Medical Program Coordinator at Centura College in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

She is a clinically certified medical assistant and certified BLS instructor. She holds an associate’s degree in Medical Administration from Tidewater Technical College in Newport News, VA.

In her spare time, Morgan finds other ways to give back to her community by volunteering as a board member providing community resources for Neurodivergent individuals. She enjoys spending time with family/friends, modeling, yoga, research, reading, the outdoors, and traveling.
