STEM Curriculum

U.S. business and policy leaders have made it a priority to increase the number of students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), but young people with autism spectrum disorders are often overlooked. Our programs aim to fix that.

FIRST Robotics Program

A year-long project-based learning opportunity in which students build and program Lego EV3 Robots. Students, gain practical real-world knowledge and skills by investigating and responding to an authentic, engaging question or challenge. Our program is designed to help students to build social, emotional, and communicative skills through working together as a team. Students develop confidence when it comes to solving problems and facing challenges while staying committed to shared team goals. Students develop greater respect for teamwork and acquire the ability to become better teammates.

Amazon Future Engineer Program

This program uses engaging tools, videos, and classroom-tested teaching methods that lower barriers to learning and encourage diversity and equity, and inclusion in the classroom and workforce. As an Amazon Future Engineer’s school, our program offers coding classes and an Advanced Placement (AP) computer science curriculum pathway.
